'Giacomo Agostini, Italy's unbeatable world motorcycle champion, has decided to compete in car racing next season. He revealed this after two effortless victories on his powerful three-cylinder MVs in the Daily Express-sponsored international meeting at Oulton Park. Said eight-times world champion Ago: "I cannot ignore the challenge of cars any longer. So next season I will definitely attack four wheels. I've had good offers from car teams in both Italy and England. I shall ask Count Agusta, the president of MV, for permission to race in both sports."'
