Description

Silver gelatin print, 7.3 x 9.5cm. Oxley Grabham was curator of York Museum from 1905 and began to use photography to catalogue the Museum collection and then to document the local rural community around the turn of the century. He photographed a way of life that was to be shattered by the First World War.
