A Ferguson model 236 17-inch television receiver, with 'HaloLight' which cost £71-15s-08d when new. This floorstanding Ferguson 236 receiver has fluorescent lights in the frame around the screen that make the television picture appear to be clearer and brighter and to be floating. It was marketed as 'HaloLight' technology. Recently, some flat-screen TV manufacturers have put a similar feature into their plasma and LCD screens.
