Description

The Light Lounge was designed to combat SAD, or Seasonal Affective Disorder. In the UK, SAD affects an estimated half a million people. Problems experienced by sufferers can range from low spirits to severe depression because the brain and body aren't getting the light they need. The Light Lounge contained four specially designed light boxes to treat SAD. Users could relax on a circular sofa while taking in some light treatment in an ambient environment.
