Sectioned model of locomotive with inside cylinders and single drivers, made by Elliott Bros, 30 Strand, London. The locomotive shown in this model (scale 1:5) has a smoke box enclosing the cylinders. The valves were driven through a rocking shaft by four eccentrics and the ordinary link motion. A dome over the firebox carried a spring-loaded lever safety valve whilst another dome on the boiler barrel housed the regulator.
