Description

A hand-drawn comic postcard by an unknown artist depicting a European tourist being photographed in front of the Great Sphinx and the pyramids. An Egyptian is portrayed as grinning and subservient, while the pompous tourist poses in his pith helmet. This postcard was printed and published in Vienna, Austria, in about 1905.
