Description

Circular white metal medal struck in commemoration of the Exposition et Congres d'Hygiene et de Sauvetage (Congress and Exhibition of Hygiene and Lifesaving) held in Brussels. The design, by Charles Wiener, shows a portrait of its patron Jules Anspach (1829-1879), Burgermeister (mayor) of Brussels.
