Photograph taken from the Photographic Advertising Archive at the National Museum of Photography, Film & Television. Photographic Advertising Limited were a British studio specialising in providing stock photographic images of ready-made and generalised subjects suitable for advertising any product. The collection holds photographs in colour and black and white from the1930s through to the early 1960s. The majority of the collection covers the late 1940s and 1950s and contains approximately 20,000 images.
