A 'Precursor' class 4-4-0 locomotive number 2064 'Jason' with an express passenger train en route from London to Glasgow. This LNWR (London & North Western Railway) owned locomotive worked the 400-mile West Coast service. From Glasgow it then went onto Edinburgh and Aberdeen. From the Crewe Collection of silver gelatin glass negatives, featuring locomotives, workshops, personalities and events of the LNWR, and the London Midland & Scottish Railway, from 1875 to 1933.
