In the far distance on the left is Flamsteed House along with the 'Onion Dome' for Airy's Great Equatorial telescope. The dome in the centre of the view, houses Christie's Altazimuth instrument, while the wooden building in the foreground is Airy's Magnetic House, a magnetic observatory.
