Hunger march in Lancashire, 23 February 1934. Unemployed men marching from Lancashire to London against the 'Slave Bill'. Hunger marches were not isolated incidents, on the same day in London, the Prime Minister of the Coalition Government, Ramsay Macdonald, refused to see 500 'hunger marchers' after their month long march from Glasgow.
