Description

Researchers at NASA's Langley Research Centre conduct studies to determine the types of difficulties astronauts might encounter on the lunar surface, where the force of gravity is only one-sixth that of Earth. A system of slings supports the weight of the man and allows him to jump and walk while encumbered in his spacesuit under conditions simulating the gravitational effects that exist on the Moon.
