Claude Friese-Greene pictured with his Vinten cine camera in Dumfries during the making of 'The Open Road' which was filmed between 1924 and 1926. Possibly the same camera as NMPFT inv. no. 1971-143 (Vinten Model E camera used for the Biocolour two-colour process developed by Claude Friese-Greene).
