Glenys Kinnock (born 1944) was a teacher before becoming an MEP (Member of the European Parliament) in 1994. She has been involved in the European Development and Co-operation Committee and has worked as patron or president of a number of charitable organisations including the Drop the Debt Campaign, One World Action, International AIDS Vaccine Initiative, and Voluntary Service Overseas. She is a Welsh speaker and is married to MP Neil Kinnock.
