Description

Two men can be seen working in a paper mill; to the left, the waterwheel provides the power. Newly made sheets of paper hang on drying racks above. The man on the left is carrying a tray of wood pulp; the man on the right is turning the screw on a wooden paper mill. Engraved plate from Georg Andreas Bockler's 'Theatrum Machinarum Novum', a work on mechanical engineering, published in Nuremberg in 1662.
