England international Gary Lineker began his career at his hometown of Leicester City in 1976 but rose to fame while playing for Everton between 1985-86. he won the European Cup winners Cup with Barcelona in 1989. He won the FA Cup with Tottenham Hotspur before ending his career in Japan with Nagoya Campus Eight. He won 80 international caps for England and never received a yellow or red card in his career. Following his retirement from football he became a tv pundit and now hosts Match of the Day on the BBC.
