Three time Formula One racing Champion Sir John Young Stewart OBE, at the Chester shooting finals. He just missed out on a place at the 1960 Olympics. Stewart became world champion in 1969 in a Matra MS80 car and also suceeded winning the world championship in 1971 and 1973. Stewart retired in 1973 and became a spokesman for safety in F1. He received a knighthood in 2001.
