Description

Protest outside Menwith Hill US airbase near Harrogate in North Yorkshire. Women sing from 'Nuclear Disarmament; Songs for Peace'. According to the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, Menwith Hill is the largest electronic monitoring station in the world. The base is part of a network of Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) bases which monitors global communications. Information is relayed to the National Security Agency (NSA) of the United States.
