Description

English footballer James Peter Greaves (born 1940) began his career at Chelsea in 1957 scoring 200 League goals by 1960 at the age of 20. In 1961 he joined AC Milan and then moved to Tottenham Hotspur. He won the FA Cup twice and the European Cup Winners Cup once with Spurs as well as scoring a record 220 goals for the club. In 1970 he joined West Ham United before retiring at the age of 31 however he made a comeback at 38 playing for Barnet FC. He has also played for England in two World Cups. Malcolm Allison played for both Charlton and West Ham United before retiring at the age of 31after contracting tuberculosis and having a lung removed. His first management job was at Plymouth followed by Manchester City, Crystal Palace, Sporting Lisbon and Middlesborough.
