'Liverpool title chances in safe hands as Bruce Grobbelaar models a pair of gigantic gloves by Umbro'. Grobbelaar (b 1957, South Africa) joined Liverpool Football Club in 1981. In the 1984 European Cup Final, he famously wobbled his legs, causing Roma's Francesco Graziani to miss a penalty; Liverpool won 4-2. Grobbelaar made over 600 appearances in 13 years at Liverpool, and won 13 major medals. He joined Southampton in 1994, and has since coached Zimbabwe and managed in South Africa.
