Photograph taken during the 1977 Ryder Cup. English golfer Nick Faldo (b. 1957) is one of Europes most successfull golfers. He turned professional in 1976 after winning the English Amateur and Youth Championships in 1975. He became the youngest player to appear in the Ryder Cup at the age of 21 and has played for the European Team a record 11 times. Faldo has won 29 European Tour titles as well as being named PGA Tour Player of the Year in 1990, and the European Tour Player of the Year in 1989, 1990 and 1992.
