A photograph of a 4-6-2 locomotive number 5701 with a west-bound passenger train to Toronto having left Windsor Station near Montreal, Quebec, by Godfrey Soole. This train ran on the Canada National Railway. This publicly owned company, formed in 1923, comprised of half the railways in Canada at this time. It was the largest railway company in North America.
