Description

Beach hut at Bishopstone, West Sussex, by E R Lacey. This hut is a railway carriage that has been withdrawn from service and has been converted to another use. Railway rolling stock was often used for different purposes when taken out of service. People often took holidays in "Camping coaches", and other carriages and wagons were converted to offices or sheds.
