Cleaner working on a Hall class 4-6-0 locomotive number 6989 "Wraysbury Hall" on the Severn Valley Railway, by Eric Treacy, about 1974. The Severn Valley Railway was built in 1862, between Kidderminster in Worcestershire, and Bridgnorth in Shropshire. It closed under the 1960s Beeching Axe but has been preserved and serves steam hauled passenger trains, which are frequently used by tourists.
