'Three thousand five hundred mothers and children from London left London today under the government evacuation scheme. This was the largest party to leave so far under the mother-and-child system, where they are sent to safer areas as many of them have come from heavily-bombed areas. Cornelius aede standing near a policeman, watches out for the train, with other children just previous to their departure from a London station.'
