Platform at Dent station, North Yorkshire, by Chris Hogg, 1994. The station opened in 1870 on the Settle to Carlisle Railway. It is the highest station in Britain, at 1150 feet above sea level. It deals with a small number of trains today, but at its peak it dealt with around 90 trains every day.
