Workers inside a warehouse at the mouth of the Channel Tunnel, Shakespeare Cliff, Dover, by Lynn Patrick, July 1991. This site is at the British side of the Channel Tunnel and served as a logistics depot as the tunnel was being built. The tunnel took 7 years to build and finally opened in 1995. It cost £2,700 million to build.
