Ballochmyle viaduct, Ayrshire. This viaduct was opened in 1848, on the Glasgow, Paisley, Kilmarnock and Ayrshire Railway. Designed by John Miller, it was built in stone and has the largest masonry arch in the world, at 181 feet. The stone was brought from Dundee.
