In about 1905 a team from the Workshops visited the Science Museum in order to make a thorough inspection and measurement of 'Puffing Billy'. Using this information they constructed an exact full-size copy of the locomotive in 1906 for display in the newly-opened Deutsches Museum in Munich. In 1913 they donated a set of the blueprints to the Science Museum. For ease of reading they are reproduced here as negatives.
