A GEA class locomotive number 4047, by Patrick Ransome-Wallis. The locomotive was designed in Britain by Beyer, Peacock and Co. Most Garratt locomotives were manufactured in Manchester. They were articulated, so that they could travel around tight corners, despite their large size.
