0-8-0 locomotive on the Ottoman Railway, by Patrick Ransome-Wallis. This locomotive was manufactured by the Robert Stephenson and Co works in Newcastle upon Tyne. Engines of this type were exported all over the world. Turkey was one of the Stephenson works' best customers and several Turkish railway companies were originally British owned. This locomotive was used in Turkey for over 50 years.
