A class 625 2-6-0 locomotive number 671 by Patrick Ransome-Wallis. Egypt opened its first railway line in 1856, with the help of Robert Stephenson. Many Egyptian locomotives were built by British, American or French companies, or were based on foreign designs. This locomotive was built by North British Locomotive of Glasgow in 1936.
