The warehouse is used by Bass Pale Ale. There were many warehouses at the North London Railway owned Poplar Dock, which dealt with a wide variety of goods. London's docks had expanded rapidly at the start of the 19th century. The coming of the railways helped this expansion by transporting goods to and from the docks.
