Description

The 4-6-2 locomotive number 4472 'Flying Scotsman', pictured as presented at the British Empire Exhibition in 1924. One of the most famous locomotives, it was built in 1923 by the London & North Eastern Railway's Doncaster works, and pulled the 'Flying Scotsman' train from London to Edinburgh.
