Description

School in Greenore, County Louth, Ireland. This school has just been built. The village of Greenore grew up around this time. Its port was built in 1867 to provide a link to Heysham and Fleetwood. A railway from Newry and Dundalk to the port was built in 1873. Greenore is a picturesque village, close to the mountains of Mourne. It also had a hotel and golf course which were widely used by British tourists.
