London Midland & Scottish Railway office at 43 New Oxford Street. This was an office where passengers went to book and purchase their tickets. Having several offices at different parts of London meant that customers did not always have to go all the way to Euston or St Pancras stations to buy their tickets or deposit their goods. Posters in the window advertise trips to First World War battlefields in France, ten years after the end of the conflict.
