London & North Western Railway and Caledonian display at the Franco-British exhibition. This exhibition celebrated the industrial achievements of France and Britain. It was held in Shepherd's Bush, London, in especially built white palaces, giving the area the name 'White City". The exhibition was attended by 12000 people. The site was also where the 1908 Olympic games were held.
