This office has a revolving tray on the counter. The customer can put their money in the tray, and turn it around to the worker's side. The worker then puts the change in the tray and turns it back. These trays are still used at stations today (2003). The trays and the glass screens are used for safety reasons, to make it harder for thieves to steal the money behind the counter.
