The Cornish Riviera express train leaving Paddington. This service took passengers from Paddington station to Penzance, via Bristol, Plymouth and other towns on the south coast of Devon and Cornwall. The service had been running since 1890 and always left Paddington station at 10.15 am. The journey took 8 hours and 42 minutes. From an archive of about 400,000 photographic negatives from various British Railways and constituent companies' photographic collections, formerly known as the OPC (Oxford Publishing Company) Collection.
