Architectural drawings in plan, section and elevation, of terraced housing for mine workers. The houses have three bedrooms, a scullery and larder; in the yard are a privy (outside lavatory), a coal shed, and a place for the ashes from the fire. Illustration from 'Working drawings of coal mining plant' by a Derby mining engineer, John Povey Harper, published in Leeds in the 19th century.
