Photographer Tony Ray-Jones recorded the unguarded moments of people from all sections of society with a distinctive and highly individual style.Â In 1961, he travelled to the United States on a scholarship to Yale in order to study graphic art. Based in New York, Ray-Jones captured street parades and individual moments over four years, returning to England a fully-fledged photographer.
