Description

On 12th April 1961, Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin (1934-1968) was the first human to journey into outer space when his Vostok spacecraft completed an orbit around Earth. Yuri Gagarin and the Prime Minister Harold Macmillan stand on the steps of Admiralty House after their meeting today.
