Engraving showing: Strophulus, (also known as red gum), a disease especially common among children, characterized by an eruption of papules (blisters) on the skin; Lichen simplex, (also known as neurodermatitis), which may result in itchy patches, usually the result of repeated rubbing or scratching; Lichen circumspectus; and Lichen ferus.
