Men in uniform with guns, with the inscription 'A communist barricade - Rochefort somewhere on it'. These men were possibly involved in the Paris Commune of 1871. From a collection of photographs, equipment and ephemera assembled by Howard and Jane Ricketts and reflecting their interest in topographic, ethnographic and industrial subjects.
