Photographic portraits of four men, with the inscription 'Incendiaries (all shot) of the Faubourg St Germain'. These men appear to have been arsonists who were executed, and were possibly involved in the Paris Commune of 1871. From a collection of photographs, equipment and ephemera assembled by Howard and Jane Ricketts and reflecting their interest in topographic, ethnographic and industrial subjects.
