Boy with baby wallaby
© Science & Society
The boy was following in his father's footsteps helping to feed a baby wallaby with a syringe. It had fallen out of its mother's pouch in a wildlife park and was brought up by his family. John Drysdale grew up in East Africa acquiring an early interest in both photography and animals. He trained at Guildford School of Art and has worked in photo-reportage, advertising and won numerous awards. But perhaps his most memorable work has been in the field of humour, working with children and animals in real life situations.
