A photograph of a group of press photographers in the streets of Westminster, taken by Edward G Malindine for the Daily Herald newspaper on 20 February 1938. A range of cameras are in use, ranging from large plate cameras to smaller roll film models. The men are photographing events surrounding the resignation of Foreign Secretary, Anthony Eden (1897-1977). Eden resigned over the Italian war in Abyssinia. This photograph has been selected from the Daily Herald Archive, a collection of over three million photographs. The archive holds work of international, national and local importance by both staff and agency photographers.
