A photograph of two women on motorbikes at a motorcycle show, taken by Tomlin for the Daily Herald newspaper on 29 November, 1935. The women in front sits on a very early motorcycle dating from about 1900. The woman beside her sits on a New Imperial motorbike. New Imperial were founded in Birmingham in 1901, continuing to produce motorbikes until 1939. This photograph has been selected from the Daily Herald Archive, a collection of over three million photographs. The archive holds work of international, national and local importance by both staff and agency photographers.
