A photograph of a Loch Nes Monster model being taken by trailer to Bertram Mills Circus, taken by James Jarche for the Daily Herald newspaper on 21 December, 1933. The Bertram Mills Circus regularly performed all over England, but this particular model was heading to Olympia, London for the Christmas season, with the show opening on the day this was taken. This photograph has been selected from the Daily Herald Archive, a collection of over three million photographs. The archive holds work of international, national and local importance by both staff and agency photographers.
