A photograph of the Motor Show in the exhibition hall at Olympia, London, taken by George Woodbine for the Daily Herald newspaper on 13 October, 1932. Stands for Daimler and Morris are visible in this busy scene. The first British motor show was organised at Crystal Palace in 1903. Just two years later, in 1905, it moved to the bigger venue of Olympia - such was the event's popularity. This photograph has been selected from the Daily Herald Archive, a collection of over three million photographs. The archive holds work of international, national and local importance by both staff and agency photographers.
